Application Details
The application portal is for all public two-year colleges in Washington. If you have applied to another community or technical college in the past you can use your ctcLink log in information to start a new application. If you have never applied to a Washington community or technical college before, please create a new account!
After you submit the application, you will receive a Welcome Letter via email within 10 business days (about 2 weeks). This email includes your LionsLink ID, student email address, and instructions on what to do next.
If it has been more than two weeks, please reach out to our Admissions team for help by email at Admissions@LWTech.edu or by phone at (425) 739-8104.
Transfer Students
Who should apply as a Transfer Student?
If you have ever enrolled in college classes at any school anytime after the summer of your high school graduation, you should apply as a transfer student.
How to Apply
The application process is the same as a new student.
- Submit the free application
- Submit official copies of any previous college transcripts
Submitting Official Transcripts
If you have previous college credits that you would like to apply towards your LWTech certificate or degree, you must send official transcripts to LWTech.
Unofficial transcripts can be used for placement purposes. This can be a faster way to complete the placement portion of New Student Orientation while your official transcripts are evaluated.

Who should apply as a Returning Student?
You qualify as a returning LWTech student if you:
- Applied to or attended classes at LWTech more than one calendar year ago
